We're alive!

... sort of.
Dan's on surgical ICU and on-call so often we haven't cooked and eaten a meal together in ages.
I finally gave up and put the dogs up in daycare today because Dan's on-call and I had conference, meetings, and a night shift that would keep me away from home from 6am to midnight.  It is a good thing that we don't have kids.

Melissa is coming over next weekend.  Halloween promises to be freaking cold.  Maybe I'll stay inside.

we stayed at the Bellagio...

a week of debauchery.  no husband, so i was free to run around eating EVERYTHING and trying to poop in as many different hotels as possible (5 different hotels, with special bonus of pooping on all 3 floors of the Mandalay Bay convention center).
