I am eating something called a sugar pear

... and it is delicious. I found these at the Saturday Farmer's Market and they are these funny little goldeny-reddish colored pears about the size of a large egg. I think the smaller something is, the more delicious. Must be the Asian Female factor. Nobody likes the way I drive, that's for sure.

In other news, COOPER IS ENGAGED and I might get to be a bridesmaid with Britta. WOO! My only concern is that I am unsure how to handle wearing a dress in public. Thankfully being a bridesmaid usually means others will be in the exact same outfit so that might go OK with me. That's not something I have to worry about for a while anyway.

And in other other news, I'm currently on the General Neurology Service now, which means lots and lots of epilepsy. I'm having a good time but I'm really glad that there are people out there who want to be neurologists because I sure don't. Next week I'm on the Stroke Service, which I think will be very helpful -- in 2002 the number of stroke victims that present to the ED went up about 17% and I think has continued to rise. Stroke is something I really want to be efficient at recognizing and treating -- it scares me.

Alright, time to run some errands and then sit and do some studying, yes?
